Blue Chip Cookies Direct Shipping Policy
Due to the perishable nature of our products, all sales are final, and we do not refund. Blue Chip Cookies,  however, will do everything we can to create a "sweet experience" for you.   Providing you with the best experience is paramount, and our focus on delivering excellence drives our shipping and handling policy.
  • Our Core Shipping Days: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. We will ship on Thursday for Saturday delivery before a Sunday holiday.
  • All our systems and pricing are set up to deliver in 1-2 business days. We currently offer Free 1-2 Day Ground Shipping via FedEx. FedEx Home Delivery and FedEx/USPS 2 Day Air to the West Coast is an additional service fee.
  • We use a combination of FedEx and USPS.  
  • A signature is NOT required when delivering,  if you want this service, please write "signature required" in the comments box during checkout. There will be an additional $3.00 charge.
  • We send a confirmation email to you after your order is submitted online,  please be sure all information is correct, including residential or commercial addresses.  Shipping charges will be applied if incorrect for residential or other requests.
  • The 2nd email with a tracking number will be sent to you when your "Cookie Order" 2 hours before shipping, which gives you the ability to know when your package is on the way. This 2nd email also provides a 2nd opportunity to make changes to your order if the information is not correct.
  •  If you are shipping to a University, Office Building, Senior Assisted Living or Hospital, where there is a mail center, you will need to alert the organization that your package is coming proactively. Please be sure that the address is correct.  
  • If you are shipping to a business, we recommend you do so on a Monday or Tuesday, to prevent packages from sitting at the company over the weekend.  
  • Please understand certain shipping situations we cannot be held responsible, but we will do everything possible to deliver your cookies in our "fresh" window of 3 days:
    • Incorrect/wrong addresses
    • Bad weather
    • Rural locations that extend travel
    • Recipients not at the site, moved, no longer at a company
    • The business closed for a holiday or permanently
    • Plan delays by shipper
    • Military addresses
    • Problems not related to or caused by Blue Chip Cookies
    • Company pick-up vs. direct deliver
    • Delay in eating cookies upon receipt and not following the instructions on the packing slip.
    • Cookies sent to someone who is out-of-town, mail-room delays (offices, universities, hospitals), and if the recipient is not aware of a gift arriving.
    • We will ship internationally and the military, as a special request.  Each country is different in customs. We are not responsible if they are held up in customs.  The customer takes this risk of shipping internationally or to military locations.    Please call to place the order.
